This notice explains how Brand Made Clear handles information on this website and in our email newsletter.

When you subscribe

We use the email address you provide to send the Brand Made Clear notes you request and to manage your subscription. We use Kit to handle the signup form, confirmation and email delivery. Kit stores subscriber details and subscription status for us and may record delivery, open and link-click activity.

Signing up is your choice. We do not sell your email address. You can stop receiving the newsletter using the unsubscribe link in any issue.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information in your message. We use that information to respond and keep track of the conversation. Please avoid sending sensitive information we do not need to help you.

Services that help the website work

Cloudflare delivers and protects this website. Cloudflare also measures website visits and page performance through its Web Analytics service. The site also requests font files from Google Fonts and loads Kit's signup tools. These providers receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information and the pages or resources requested as part of delivering their services. Signup and security tools may use cookies or similar technology.

We do not add advertising pixels to this website. Our service providers explain their practices in their own notices: Cloudflare, Kit and Google.

Your analytics choices

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics helps us understand which pages people visit, which links they choose and whether our newsletter signup works. It uses cookies to connect those visits and actions. We do not send your email address or newsletter form contents to Google Analytics, and we do not enable its advertising features. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Google Analytics loads only after you accept. You can decline and still use the website and newsletter. Use Analytics choices in the footer to change your choice at any time. Declining stops our Google Analytics tracking and removes its cookies from this website; it does not delete data already collected. This choice is separate from newsletter consent and Cloudflare's website measurements.

Keeping and removing information

We retain information as needed to run the newsletter, respond to you and honor your subscription preferences. Unsubscribing stops newsletter delivery; a record of your preference may remain so that we do not accidentally subscribe you again.

You can ask to access, correct or delete information you have shared with us by emailing [email protected]. We may need to confirm that a request comes from the person concerned.
